Stay Safe
Stay Safe

Here are a few simple precautions to keep you and your friends safe:

Who's Watching Your Drink?

It may be tempting to leave your drink on the side while you visit the toilets or if your favourite song comes on; but remember, unattended drinks make easy prey for spiking drinks. Leave it with someone you trust, don't leave it alone. If in doubt, get a fresh drink.

Billy No Mates?

If you're new in the area, don't go to a new place by yourself. If you're out with a group of friends, stay together and make sure your friends know where you are.

No Thanks!

Don't accept drinks from anyone you don't trust or know. Although a free drink may seem like a cheap option at the time, you don't know what's in it. If you do accept a drink from a stranger, make sure you take it directly from the bar staff.

Plan Ahead

Before you leave, think about how you'll get home. Walking home by yourself at night could be dangerous. Also, think about who you accept lifts from. Check that any private mini-cab firm has a licence before you get in and ring for a mini-cab instead of accepting a lift from a crawler.
